Individualized and Trauma Focused Therapy
The path to healing is different for everyone and difficult to do alone, I provide individualized care to each of the individuals and couples I work alongside with.
As a Psychotherapist, I specialize in trauma-focused care that goes beyond talk therapy. My desire for our time together is to provide you with a compassionate, safe and, non-judgemental space for you to “take off the mask” that you have learned to wear that feels both protective but also lonely. The mask that guards you from others seeing the pain and vulnerability you carry behind the mask.
I believe in the importance of a therapeutic relationship with my clients. A relationship that is built on my transparency and openness.
I use an integrated approach for each individual I work with. I draw from best-practice approaches and techniques that contribute to clients attaining goals and being supported purposefully. I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) to support deep, lasting change. These trauma-informed therapies allow us to work with both the emotional and physiological impacts of trauma.
